Here comes Phoenix⌐, the new face from Garrettype!
Phoenixעa shareware typeface for the Mac
Phoenix is an all-new shareware typeface developed especially for the Macintosh by Van Garrett. The font is an adaptation of an art deco font called Phenix American, optimized for use with LaserWriters. It is especially good for display advertising, special headlines, and U&lc large-point text blocks.
Give Phoenix to your friends and co-workers
Phoenix is shareware, so feel free to give copies to your friends and co-workers. Just please be sure to include this registration info document with the font files. Also feel free to give a copy to your service bureau.
Phoenix is compatible with everything
It comes with ligatures and virtually all of the standard 255 character set. (Some of the Greek and less-used math characters are omitted.) It is compatible with all Mac programs that accept Adobe Type 3 fonts, and is acceptable in TypeStyler. And when you register, youרll get ATM compatibility as well!
When you registerע you get two extra fonts FREE
The package comes in Stuffit format and includes: Postscript and Font/DA Mover files, EPS outlines, documentation and sample documents using Phoenix. It also includes 2 other Postscript fonts: Dynamo and Modern Woodcut (an original face, designed with an Eastern European handcrafted feel to it). All three fonts will work with Adobe Type Manager. In addition, the Fontographer documents for each font will be included, so users of Fontographer can alter them in any way they see fit.
And the registration fee is only $20
Thatרs right, only $20. For three Postscript fonts, plus the EPS files, plus the customizable Fontographer files, plus the well-designed, idea-packed sample documents, thatרs not that much to ask. But try it out yourself. If you like it, send in the registration fee and become a registered user.
